Pricing

The information on this page is for Granny's House & Pet Care service at your home address.

Prices are straight-forward and basic. Clients are charged a daily rate.  This includes an approximate 25 minute visit and covers a small number of pets. 

Public Holidays attract a 50% surcharge - see NSW Public Holiday dates below. 
  • For longer visits or a large number of pets please seek a private quote as service time will be increased - generally an extra $10 day.
  • Housesitting within Dubbo City limits.

Travel Charge
From 1 March 2022 a $25 travel charge will apply :-
  • for roundtrip services per 50 kilometres, with a single added charge of $10 per service block. Round trip kilometres for the free Meet & Greet will be included in the first invoice.
This decision is directly related to the high cost of fuel and could change as fuel prices regulate.


No Surcharges
  • for fish, birds, reptiles, guinea pigs with low maintenance care
  • for litter poop-scooping
  • for travel surcharge within city
  • for collecting mail, putting bins in/out, watering pot-plants

    2 The public holiday standard in the Public Holidays Act 2010provides that when Australia Day (26 January) falls on a Saturday or Sunday, there will be no public holiday on that day and instead the following Monday is to be the public holiday.

    3 The public holiday standard in the Act provides that when New Year's Day, Christmas Day or Boxing Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday there is to be an additional public holiday on the following Monday or Tuesday.
